TABLE OF CONTENTS
Navigating the Overview Page
When you first enter the Marketing Analytics module, you’ll land on the Overview page. This page displays your site’s key metrics and offers several drop-down options to help refine your data view.
Site and Group Selection
Site Selection: Choose which website you want to analyze using the familiar site selection drop-down.
Groups: If you want to analyze a subset of pages (rather than the entire site), use the Groups feature to narrow your view.

Setting Your Data Parameters
Date Selection
The date selector is one of the most critical tools in your analysis. It determines the time range for the data displayed across all widgets.
You can select:
A specific day
A rolling 7-day period
A specific quarter (e.g., Q4 of last year)
A custom date range

Tip: Always confirm your date range before interpreting data to ensure accuracy across metrics.
Filters
Filters allow you to refine and customize your analysis. You can:
Choose from pre-built filters (e.g., view only organic Google traffic)
Create custom filters using specific criteria to focus on the insights that matter most (admin functionality)

Key Metrics and Widgets
As you scroll through the Overview page, you’ll find several interactive widgets providing insights into visitor behavior and site performance:
Live Activity: Displays visitor activity from the last 30 minutes, including active users, most popular pages, and visitor locations.
Historical Overview and Comparison: Compare top-level metrics—such as visits, returning visitors, and bounce rates—across different time periods or against other metrics.
Visitor Dimensions: View profiles of your most common visitors, including details like device type, operating system, and geographic location.
Traffic Sources: See which channels (organic search, social media, direct, etc.) are driving visitors to your site.
Popular Pages: Identify which pages receive the highest number of views.
Exploring Additional Tools
From the Marketing Analytics menu in the top-left corner, you can access additional tools for deeper analysis and insights.
Tip: Keep your date selections and filters consistent as you navigate between sections to ensure you’re viewing accurate, aligned data across all reports.
