Modified on: Thu, 26 Feb, 2026 at 6:14 PM

Currently, only Account Owners can edit the index URL of a site that's already being checked for Quality Assurance or Accessibility in the platform. Please an account owner if you need the index URL edited.

Account Owners can go into Settings > Sites > Search the site > How to fix this (View Resolution) > Edit site URL.

Here are the specific errors that will allow an Account Owner to update the index URL:

  • Final URL is not internal
  • 404 Not Found
  • No handlers able to process resource
  • HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
  • Redirect chain contains excluded URL
  • HTTP 400 Bad Request
  • HTTP 410 Gone
  • Unidentified error
