Modified on: Thu, 25 Jun, 2026 at 10:18 PM

Summary

To allow Siteimprove to access your site when using Incapsula/Imperva CDN, you must whitelist Siteimprove IP addresses in your Imperva security settings so the crawler is not blocked.

Prerequisites

  • Access to your Incapsula / Imperva control panel
  • Permissions to modify security or access control settings
  • Siteimprove IP address list available

Steps

  1. Log in to your Incapsula/Imperva control panel.
  2. Select the Settings menu option.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Go to the Whitelist Specific Sources section.
  5. Enter the Content Suite and Crawler IP addresses listed in the article Siteimprove IP Addresses.
  6. Select "Add IP Address".
  7. Save your changes.

Additional Information

If you cannot locate the setting, contact Imperva support for assistance with configuring access rules in your specific setup. You can also refer to this information on the Incapsula/Imperva Security Settings.

Important

If Siteimprove IPs are not whitelisted, the crawler may be blocked and will be unable to scan your site.
