(EN) Your Website: A Parent's Perspective

Modified on: Thu, 6 Oct, 2022 at 4:49 PM

We want to introduce you to Tom. Like most parents, it seems like his son Gunnar was just starting kindergarten yesterday, but high school graduation is suddenly right around the corner.

They are trying to figure out where Gunnar will continue his education next fall and had a father-son road trip planned to compare different universities, but things are a little different now. Coronavirus has forced them to steer clear of campus visits and driven them to the world wide web instead. That's right, this year Tom and Gunnar have been visiting schools through their websites. Instead of in-person tours, they're touring each school's online presence to get a feel for life on campus.

While it may sound like Tom and his story are just conveniently crafted works of fiction, they're real, and he's also a ‍Senior Customer Success Manager‍ here at Siteimprove. He shared more about his real-life experiences as a parent and reviewed how Siteimprove's reports can be used to better understand your visitor interactions.

Topics covered in this webinar include:

  • exploring navigation challenges.
  • the importance of an internal search option.
  • interpreting on-page interactions with behavior maps.
