Why does the DCI Accessibility score change after switching to NextGen Accessibility?

Modified on: Fri, 17 Sep, 2021 at 1:43 PM

The three main reasons why the DCI score can change is because we have:

  • enhanced the quality of the accessibility tests through a completely new set of accessibility checks based on WCAG 2.1 and the ACT Rules Format 1.0.
  • increased the test coverage by including all accessibility rules and not only Errors and Warnings.
  • intensified the focus on users of websites by measuring the level of accessibility from failing occurrences instead of failing pages.
