March 20th, 2023 - Accessibility: Browser extension update (new rules)
To make sure that you experience fast and reliable insights to accelerate your collaboration, team efficiency, and overall performance, we launched Accelerated Performance on February 22, 2023.
Our Accessibility team has updated the Siteimprove browser extension so that it is up-to-date with the 17 new rules released as part of the Accelerated Performance launch.
What is the new feature about?
In the Q1 2023 release, we expanded coverage of what can be tested automatically with 17 new accessibility rules.
With this particular update, we decreased the number of manual accessibility tests users need to perform.
You can now benefit from the same new checks when using your preferred browser with the Siteimprove extension installed.
Why update the browser extension?
To expand the browser extension's accessibility coverage and bring it in line with the ACT Working Group, Siteimprove provides you with an even more advanced Accessibility tool when using all Siteimprove accessibility products.
