Siteimprove’s release notes for March 2025

This page offers an introduction to the product updates and new capabilities we released to the Siteimprove platform in March. Designed to enhance your experience and help you achieve more with ease and efficiency.

The March release includes:

  1. Unified Search in Siteimprove SEO Enterprise
  2. New integration: Email Governance
  3. Settings: Improved Sites Overview

Unified Search in Siteimprove SEO Enterprise

Unified Search is a new, powerful way to integrate your paid search (Google Ads) and organic search (SEO) keyword performance into one single view. You get deeper insights into which keywords hold the potential to drive better results in organic search. This helps you prioritize your ads spend for most impact and uncover new areas of growth opportunities.

Many organizations invest in paid ads but neglect to leverage the same keywords in their organic SEO strategy. Unified Search closes this gap by giving you a comprehensive view of paid versus organic keyword performance.

This helps you:

  • Identify which high-potential keywords to invest in organically
  • Maximize your ROI by reducing ineffective ads spend
  • Stay ahead of market shifts with real-time insights into new, high-impact keywords.

New integration: Email Governance

Siteimprove Email Governance is a tool designed to help marketing teams create emails that are compliant and consistent with your brand before being sent. Sending emails without knowing if they meet accessibility or brand standards can be risky. Automatically checking for accessibility issues, outdated templates, and brand inconsistencies will go a long way toward streamlining your process.

Here’s what it does:

  • Pre-send compliance check: Ensure emails meet accessibility, quality, and company-specific standards before they go out.
  • Accessibility validation: Catch issues like missing ALT text and poor color contrast so emails are inclusive for all audiences.
  • Brand & policy compliance: Automatically verify content aligns with your brand guidelines and policies.
  • Seamless integration: Works with Salesforce Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Campaign, and Optimizely Campaign.

Prerequisites for installation:

To be able to use the integration, you must have a Siteimprove account with an Email Governance subscription and you must be using one of these supported email platforms: Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, Optimizely Campaign.

Settings: Improved Sites Overview

  • View sites IDs: We have added ‘Site ID’ to the individual site summary in Settings --> Sites, and as a new column in the csv export of the sites. This lets you more easily identify sites as site names and URLs can change over time. Those working with Siteimprove’s API and Accessibility Code Checker need access to site IDs.
  • View creation date: We have added the site ‘Creation date’ to the individual site summary and to the site export file in Settings ---> Sites. This lets you sort sites by creation date in the exported file.
  • Improved export options: The CSV export of sites is now reactive to your filters and searches in the sites overview. Users with hundreds of sites can now export just a subset by applying the tags filter.
  • Export users via the sites overview: With the export functionality in Settings ---> Sites, you can now also export a list of users with full or partial access to the sites in your filtered list. This lets you quickly understand who has access to certain sites.
