Modified on: Thu, 2 Jul, 2026 at 10:02 PM

Summary

You can export a list of users who have access to specific sites from Settings > Sites. After filtering the sites you want, use the Export filtered users option to generate a CSV file containing user information, including names, email addresses, roles, and site access details.

Before You Begin

Before exporting users:

  • Ensure you have access to the Sites overview in Siteimprove.
  • Determine which sites you want to include in the export.
  • You can use site names, URLs, or tags to filter the sites included in the export.

How to Export Users for Specific Sites

Managing user access across hundreds or thousands of sites can be challenging — especially when you need a quick overview of who has access to what. With Siteimprove’s redesigned Sites overview (Settings - Sites), you can now easily export a list of users with access to specific sites.

About the Sites Overview

The Sites overview is designed to support large-scale organizations. It provides a fast, scalable experience, includes detailed site information, and offers export capabilities that help you manage user access across large numbers of sites and users.

Why Use This Export?

  • Quickly identify who has access to specific sites.
  • Export user emails, roles, and names for auditing or reporting.
  • Works for filtered lists, so you can target exactly the sites you care about.

Step 1:

Go to Settings > Sites

This is where you’ll find the new Sites overview table.

Step 2:

Filter the Sites You Want

You can filter in two ways:

  • Search bar: Use this to find one or more specific sites by name or URL.
  • Tags: Filter by tags to select multiple related sites.

Step 3:

Click Export Filtered Users

Once your filtered list is ready, click the Export filtered users button.

This will generate a CSV file containing:

  • User name
  • User email
  • User role
  • And other relevant details regarding the sites they have access to.

Step 4:

Download and Open the File

The file will download automatically and can be opened in Excel or any spreadsheet tool.
