What Conversational Analytics Does
Conversational Analytics allows users to interact with their analytics data using natural language. Key capabilities include:
- Asking data‑related questions
Example: “Which Key Metrics converted best in Germany last month?” - Requesting performance summaries
Example: “What are the top traffic sources contributing to Key Metric completions for ‘newsletter signups’ last week?” - Surfacing anomalies and performance drivers
Example: “Which pages had the largest drop in visits last quarter?”
Tips for Getting Accurate Results
- Ask specific, data-focused questions.
Note: Accessibility and QA data are not supported. - Include time ranges when possible.
- Reference exact object or campaign names to improve accuracy.
Data, Privacy & Security
- Your organization's data remains private and isolated.
- Data is not shared across accounts.
- The model is not trained on your data.
- Data is only used to generate responses within your active session.
- Conversational Analytics is built on the AWS Agent Core platform.
- Responses are generated using Claude Sonnet 4.5.
Who Can Enable Access?
During the Controlled Access phase:
- Admins and Owners can enable the feature.
- Access is opt‑in.
- Rollout is gradual; not all accounts will see the option at the same time.
How to Enable Conversational Analytics
- Go to Analytics Settings in Marketing Analytics.
- Open Controlled Access.
- Toggle Conversational Analytics on.
Who Can Use Conversational Analytics?
Once enabled:
- All users in the account (except group‑access‑only users) can use the Ask AI button.
Where to Find the Ask AI Button
After enabling:
- The Ask AI button appears in the top‑right corner of every Marketing Analytics page.
- Selecting it opens a side panel where users can type or paste questions.
