Update Siteimprove API credentials in Power BI

This article explains how to update or change the saved Siteimprove API credentials for an existing connection in Power BI. It covers the API Username and API Key used to authenticate the connection.

Updating or Changing API Credentials

  1. Go under File > Options and Settings > Data Source Settings. Path to Data Source Settings
  2. Select Siteimprove API > Edit Permissions. 'Siteimprove API' selected under Data source settings
  3. Under Credentials, select Edit.
  4. Enter the API Username and API Key for Password from the platform under Integrations > API > API Keys > Save. See: How to Connect to the Siteimprove API for more information on API keys. Credentials entered in Siteimprove API
  5. Select OK > Close.
