October & November 2021 Release Highlights

Modified on: Tue, 7 Dec, 2021 at 2:44 PM

Our monthly release highlights include a summary of important new features from the previous month.

This month’s highlights include:

Analytics and Dashboard Reports

There have been continued efforts to improve our dashboard reporting to provide parity with our legacy reporting functionality.
As part of these efforts, we have added new rolling time periods to the dashboard widgets for Analytics. These rolling periods include options such as “this month”, “this quarter”, “this year”, etc. Providing these rolling time periods allows more flexibility in aggregate data reporting and presentation.
For an overview of this updated functionality, please watch the video below.

Here are some examples of how to put this functionality into action within the dashboard and dashboard reporting. You can copy the dashboard template links provided here to use on your account.

Accessibility Next Gen Updates

Dismiss and Prioritize

It's now possible to dismiss and prioritize accessibility issues within NextGen! We know there may be issues a user may not be able to control, have the ability to update, or manage due to their workload - the dismiss feature can help remove those issues from your list.

In the video below, we take you step-by-step to where you can make these decisions.

Table Column Improvement

Columns are now customizable within the accessibility issues tables. This will allow users to pick and choose the data that's relevant to their goals. Two additional columns have been added: "Success Criteria" and "Abilities Affected" - this is to provide context and better support understanding issues.
