IP addresses added to the Siteimprove crawler bot in 2022
Due to the continuous improvement of our service, we are increasing the capacity of our global crawler network. This change involves the addition of crawler IP addresses. This action is required to ensure the availability and performance of the Siteimprove services.
Is there something I need to do?
For most customers, nothing will change. However, if you've previously been advised by Siteimprove to include our service's IP addresses to your allow list, you will now also need to add our new IP addresses. The new IP addresses are listed below.
A complete list of all current Siteimprove IP addresses can be found in the article “What IP addresses and user agents are used by Siteimprove?”
Who in my organization will be able to update the IP addresses allowed to crawl my website?
Changing the IP allow list will normally be carried out by the network administrator in your IT Department.
When do I need to edit my allow list?
You should add the new IP address to your allow list as soon as possible. We will start crawling from the new IP addresses in 2022.
What happens if I do not update the IP addresses?
In most cases, nothing will change. However, if your organization or provider is restrictive regarding bot IP addresses, and you do not add the new IP addresses then Siteimprove may not be able to check your content.
Where can I find the full list of Siteimprove IP addresses that should be allowed to crawl our website?
The article "What IP addresses and user agents are used by Siteimprove?" contains a full list of the IP addresses used by Siteimprove along with their functions.
Can I get a list of just the new crawler IP addresses added in 2022?
Yes, the additional crawler IP addresses added in 2022 are listed below. You can also download a text file via this link “Text file of the additional Siteimprove crawler IP addresses”.
Note: This is a subset of IP addresses so we recommend that you allow the complete list of Siteimprove IP addresses provided in the article “What IP addresses and user agents are used by Siteimprove?”

Does this change influence my Analytics solution?
If you use Siteimprove Analytics, we automatically exclude Siteimprove bot traffic from your statistics. However, if you want to exclude bot traffic from an external Analytics provider, e.g., Google Analytics, you'll need to add the new Siteimprove IP addresses to your account filter“. You can read more on this in the article - How to exclude crawler traffic from Analytics.
