Crawl Errors: Index URL Points to an Invalid or Non‑Crawlable Page

If you are seeing a 404 Not Found error
- Double-check the URL. If the page was removed, update the index URL to point somewhere valid, or delete the site if it’s no longer needed. Account Owners can make these changes by using the options listed under the How to fix this dropdown menu in the Site summary panel under Manage sites.
If you are seeing a 410 Gone error
- Point the index URL to a valid page, or delete the site if it’s no longer needed. Account Owners can take these actions by using the options listed under the How to fix this dropdown menu in the Site summary panel under Manage sites.
If you are seeing a No handlers able to process resource error
- Use a standard web page (HTML/XML) as the start URL. Account Owners can edit the site URL or delete the site by using the options listed under the How to fix this dropdown menu in the Site summary panel under Manage sites.
