Product updates and new capabilities released to the Siteimprove platform in April. Designed to enhance your experience and help you achieve more with ease and efficiency.
The April release includes:
- New system dashboard: AI traffic overview
- Native rendering in PDF reports
- Updated accessibility ruleset
- Improved overview of available integrations
- Subscription overview redesign
1. New system dashboard: AI traffic overview
We’ve introduced a new pre-configured system dashboard to help you understand how AI-driven discovery is impacting visibility, traffic, and visitor behavior across your website.
The AI traffic overview helps you answer key questions such as:
- Is AI driving traffic to your website?
- Which pages are appearing in AI-powered search results?
- Which AI platforms - such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Gemini - are sending visitors to your site?
You can quickly identify which pages attract visitors from AI engines and understand how AI-driven visits contribute to overall engagement and performance.
By connecting AI traffic with engagement and business outcomes, the dashboard helps teams assess readiness for AI-powered search and make more informed content and optimization decisions - without adding complexity to existing workflows.

2. Native rendering in PDF reports
We have updated the PDF report to display PDFs in their native format rather than as static images. This provides a more accurate and interactive view, making it easier to review both content and structure directly within the report.
You can zoom in without losing clarity, search and copy text directly from the PDF, and inspect the document’s underlying structure, including text elements and accessibility tags like headings. These improvements make it faster to identify issues and work more efficiently with PDF accessibility.
3. Updated accessibility ruleset
We have updated the accessibility ruleset to improve the accuracy and consistency of your accessibility score. This update introduced a new rule (R116) and removes outdated checks (R3, R6, R83), which may result in changes to your Digital Certainty Index (DCI).
With these improvements, your results better reflect current accessibility standards and provide more meaningful insights into your website’s accessibility performance.
Your account will automatically transition to the new ruleset - no action is required. We do recommend reviewing your updated results to understand any changes in your score and identify new opportunities for improvement.
4. Improved overview of available integrations
We have updated the Integrations overview page to make it easier to discover, understand, and manage Siteimprove integrations.
The refreshed experience includes improved filtering and grouping, to let you quickly find relevant integrations. A clearer structure enhances navigation and discoverability, while simplified access to installation and management guides makes it easier to get started and stay in control. The design has also been updated to align with the latest platform experience.
Find the updated overview under Settings → Integrations → Integrations overview.
5. Subscription overview redesign
We’ve introduced a redesigned Settings > Subscription overview.
The improved experience offers a clearer overview of what’s included in your Siteimprove subscription. We’ve re-organized the page to more easily relate the usages and limits of your subscription to their respective features and products.
