August 2026 release notes: New in the PDF Remediation Agent: Make PDF edits directly from your PDF Report | New Siteimprove MCP Server | Save answers from Siteimprove AI directly to your live dashboards

Product updates and new capabilities released to the Siteimprove platform in August. Designed to enhance your experience and help you achieve more with ease and efficiency. 

The August release includes:

1. New in the PDF Remediation Agent: Edit PDF title and language directly in the PDF report
2. Siteimprove MCP Server
3. Save Conversational Analytics answers as live dashboard widgets

1. New in the PDF Remediation Agent: Edit PDF title and language directly in the PDF report

You can now edit a PDF's document title and language directly from the PDF Report, right after the remediation flow — no need to open the PDF in a separate tool to make these changes.

Before and now

• Previously, changing the title or language meant downloading the remediated PDF, opening it in a PDF editor, making the change, and re-uploading it to your website. 
• Now you make the edit inline in the PDF Report and download the finished file once, ready to publish.

Availability

Available to customers who have added the PDF Remediation Agent to their Siteimprove subscription.

2. Siteimprove MCP Server

The Siteimprove MCP Server connects Siteimprove's accessibility checks and code-fix suggestions directly into your AI assistant or agent, using the open Model Context Protocol (MCP). Ask a question, get an answer, without leaving your existing workflow.

What you can do

Once connected, a compatible client (Claude, GitHub Copilot in VS Code, Cursor, or another MCP-enabled agent) is able to:

• Check a live, public page for accessibility issues.
• Check a raw HTML snippet before it ever gets published.
• Get WCAG-grounded code-fix suggestions for supported issues.

Example use cases

• "Check https://example.com/pricing for accessibility issues."
• "Here's some HTML, are there any WCAG problems before I publish it?"
• "Suggest a fix for the missing form labels you found."

Availability

Detection tools (detect_from_url, detect_from_html) are available on Accessibility Pro or Advanced. Code-fix suggestions (remediate) additionally require an active AI Remediate entitlement and credit pool.

3. Save Conversational Analytics answers as live dashboard widgets

You can now save answers from Conversational Analytics directly to your dashboards. When Siteimprove AI responds with a chart or table, select 'Add to dashboard' to pin it as a widget. No need to retype the prompt or rebuild the view manually.

Live, not static

Widgets added from Conversational Analytics are live rather than static snapshots. They stay in sync with current data, so a saved insight always reflects the latest state of your account's Analytics configuration.

Like other Analytics widgets, a saved insight follows the dashboard's Site, Group, Period, and Filter selections. That means you can change what it shows just by adjusting those controls on the dashboard — for example, switching the Period from last week to last quarter — instead of going back to Conversational Analytics to ask the question again.

Closing the loop between exploration and monitoring

This feature connects exploration and monitoring in one workflow. Explore with Conversational Analytics to find what matters, then track it over time from a dashboard shared with your team.

Insights added to dashboards are included in scheduled dashboard reports, and widgets respect each viewer's permissions and language settings, consistent with the rest of the platform.

Example use cases

• Ask "Which campaigns had the highest conversion rate last week?" and pin the result to a marketing dashboard.
• Turn a one-off traffic comparison into a recurring view your team checks every week.
• Build a dashboard from questions rather than by browsing the widget library.
