  5. Search for the page, by its URL or page title, and then select the page by clicking on it.
Note: If multiple URLs are shown for the page, select the URL with the most page views. To find out more about duplicate pages, see Why do duplicate pages show up in Analytics? Also, if you do not see the page, make sure the URL is valid and has the Analytics code, see How do I know that the Analytics JavaScript is on all of my pages?
Make sure that the page entered does not redirect to another page. If it does, you should instead enter the URL that visitors are redirected to in order to gather behavior map interactions.
  6. Finish by clicking the button Add page.

When the page has been successfully added a green message box will appear at the top of the page:

Page added confirmation

You can view pages added to Behavior Map by selecting Behavior Map from the sub-menu. By clicking on the specific page in the list, you can see the Behavior Map for that page once a screenshot has been generated.

Note: Users restricted to Group Access Only will not be able to add pages to Behavior Map.

Once you have added your first page(s), the Siteimprove system will take a screenshot of the page and start collecting Behavior Map data. It may take up to 24 hours before the screenshot is saved, and data is only collected from the moment you add a page. So please be aware that it can take some time before the data for the page appears. Screenshots in behavior maps are taken every day - if the page has been visited by a website user. If the page has not been visited then screenshots will be taken each Wednesday and again on the 1st of each month.
